Thornlie Senior High School from Perth, WA, visited ACS (I) on 26th April 2011. ACS Barker and ACS I hosted the guests from Australia to triangular 10-a-side rugby matches.

With mid year exams just round the corner and most of the Sec ‘3s having an off year (with no B Div rugby till next year), it was a good run out for the Sec 3 team from ACS Independent.

ACS (I) did well in the first half, were ahead at the break. In the second half, the visitors came out firing. Their coaches could be heard at the break rallying the Aussie lads to up their game and finish their tour unlimited. The local boys quickly saw their lead disappear, and were soon staring into the barrel of defeat, when the lightning siren went off, leaving the ref no choice but to call the game.

A decent workout. Now back to the books!
